Designer Marilina Deligiannopoulou shared her early years between Athens and Thessaloniki, at a time when the pioneering artistic stimuli of her surroundings inspired her to start creating and designing. Her 20-year successful career in the luxury goods sector has given her the opportunity to get to know and love all kinds of precious materials; this love eventually translated into creating her own signature jewellery.
Throughout the years she studied and worked tirelessly to evolve as a jeweler. The Benaki Museum, where she familiarised with metal and metalwork, became her "sacred" space. The ILIAS LALAOUNIS Jewellery Museum influenced the sparkling touch in her designs and helped her perfecting her personal style. She also took courses next to renowned teachers in Paris and Milan, developing her technique into a unique way of expression.
2015 was a milestone in terms of her relationship with jewellery. After many beautiful creative years at her first atelier, she opened her own luxury boutique in Kolonaki with jewellery and exclusive handmade handbags. Her brand is named UKKA LELLE, after a mythical persona with ethnic influences, passion for life and divine style.
In this same year she became a member of the 'A Jewel Made in Greece' (AJMG) platform and actively participated with this team in various events. She exhibited her jewellery in Technopolis, the European Parliament in Brussels, Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport and other numerous shows in Greece and abroad during 2015 and 2016. 2017 included her participation, -for the 3rd consecutive year-, in the exhibition "AJMG" at Zappeion as well as in the 3rd CREAID charity project "Designer Jewelry". In November 2017, together with the "AJMG" team she showcased her creations at the exhibition of Greek Jewellery in the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
UKKA LELLE jewellery is available in numerous boutiques, museum shops, galleries and selected luxury hotel shops in Greece and Cyprus.
